One of the great advantages of the Paphos coastline for divers, especially as we near the Akamas Peninsular, is that we find small outcrops and islands just off shore. Manijin Island is one such place, accessible from the beach, with rocky outcrops, sand and grass patches en route to the island, with depths varying between 12 to 22 metres, great for every level of Scuba divers.
A beautifully colourful wall dive that's Jurassic in appearance, a spectacular cave and several swim-throughs. The cave is covered with an explosion of colourful calciferous algae. Both sides of the island present you with 2 excellent dive sites and offer a huge array of flora and fauna. A great place for spotting some of the local marine life, from Wrasse,Sea Bream and Barricuda to Loggerhead and Green Sea Turtles - if you are diving in Paphos try and include this dive site, one of Kalliopi Dive College's top ten sites!
