The Scuba Diver program consists of Knowledge Development, 3 confined in-water sessions (either in the swimming pool or in pool-like conditions in the sea) and 2 open water qualifying sea dives, one of which will be up to 12 meters. Scuba Diver is PADI’s entry level qualification which certifies the student to dive up to 12 meters under the supervision of a PADI professional such as a Dive Leader, Dive Master or Dive Instructor.

PADI Open Water Diver eLearning is the modern and convenient way for student divers to complete the independent study portion of their Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course from a laptop/desktop computer or mobile device.
Scuba Diver is a perfect holiday dive certification, but why stop there? With Scuba Diver, you are already over halfway to Open Water Diver, so, whenever you are ready, go for the upgrade! All you need to do for the Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver Upgrade:
- Complete the final stages of Knowledge Development
