Automated External Defibrillator

Kalliopi First Aid Training's Automated External Defibrillator (AED) / Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training programme is a 6 hour course which trains and educates participants in the techniques of using an AED for victims of cardiac arrest.  This course also reviews first aid procedures using basic life support techniques and CPR.

The aim of the course is to enable participants to certify for CPR and the use of an AED, according to the Cyprus Government legislation for the placement of AED’s, (as published in the Official Gazette of the Cyprus Government PART I, Legislation Part 1, No. 4186, dated 19.12.2008, N.110(1)/2008).

The training programme is approved and fully complies with the Cyprus Government Legislation which is in accordance with the latest (2015) European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Guidelines.
