Night life

The night life In Paphos is lively and extravagant, especially in key areas.

The central hub of night life in central Paphos is locally known as 'Barstreet'.  An area of Tavernas, Restaurants, Bars, Shops and Cafes, it is located in the lower Kato Paphos area, close to the the harbour. Flanked by hotels, in the height of Summer, Barstreet is the busiest area on the south west coast.

Another great night life attraction is the area of Coral Bay. Not only are there hotels, bars, pubs & clubs, but also many lovely tavernas and top class international restaurants.  From breakfast to disco time, Coral Bay offers visitors a unique experience.  20 minutes by local bus from Kato Paphos.  Excellent taxi services after midnight.

During the height of Summer, Paphos also becomes a key area for beach parties, held daily and nightly in hotels and beach bars.  Paphos also lends itself for large sponsored parties, often held by large, well known sports and energy drink brands. These are held at the Paphos light house which is situated on a beach path between the harbour castle and the Tomb of the Kings.

Paphos harbour is often the venue for visiting Artists from Greece and elsewhere, the backdrop to many outdoor concerts & Operas being the Byzantine Fort.
