Welcome to the Kalliopi Dive College Blog!
As the 2016 tourist season quietens down and Christmas is just around the corner, it’s hard to believe that there is still a big demand for scuba diving activities in late October in Cyprus. Of course our weather conditions are pretty perfect still – the sea is enjoying balmy temperatures, the sun is warming our bodies and visitors are grasping the last chance to holiday during the kids’ half term Autumn breaks.
I’m often asked, ‘how’s the weather during Winter here’, and it’s been my pleasure to report that our Summer season seems to be continuing all the way through October & November. It's certainly been doing so for the past 5 years! So, if you are thinking to visit Cyprus for Diving during the ‘Winter’, don’t hesitate to consider packing your Dive Kit, or at the very least your mask and snorkels. They won’t be left in the case unused!
What a tremendous 2016 season we've had, all thanks to my wonderful team, Danny, Claire, Matt, Sean and Marian - my superstars! I'm grateful to have the chance to work with such fantastic dive professionals.
